It’s part of our passion and checks off one more item from our checklist. Figjam has a rich history starting with our founding in 2014, with friends and neighbors making wild plans during an evening of wine consumption. After a COVID inspired hiatus, we are back in production with our 2021 Old Vine Zin, a young (still in barrel) 2023 Old Vine Zin and a nicely aging 2023 Estate Chardonnay. Release of the ‘21 Zin and ‘23 Chard is expected in March/April of 2024.

Make it.

Our wines are currently sourced and produced in Lodi California, a few miles South of Sacramento. The Lodi AVA produces more wine grapes than Napa and Sonoma AVA’s combined. Our processes are based on traditional hand crafted styles and our winemaker is meticulous in monitoring and maintaining rigorous standards throughout harvest, crush, fermentation, aging and bottling.

  • The Jakus and Holle families have been perfecting their palates for many years. Jeff and Bryan’s involvement dates back to the mid 2000’s while operating a boutique wine/beer distributorship. Jeff and original partner, Peter, crafted the first Figjam offering with 2014 Syrah and Chardonnay.

  • The Figjam partners are always looking for additional opportunities. In fact, we are currently looking into making wine in Portugal.
